Loan payment calculator
Three inputs, three answers: what a loan costs per month, how much of it is interest, and what you will have repaid by the end.
Your estimate
Estimates only, not an offer or financial advice. Assumes equal monthly payments and no fees; a lender's origination fee raises both the APR and the total.
How to read the results
The monthly payment is the number to test against your budget, and the total repaid is the number that tells you what the loan really costs. Both move when you change the term: stretching the same amount over more months shrinks the payment and grows the total, and shortening it does the reverse. There is no free lunch in that trade, only the version of it that fits your month.
Try the calculator with an APR near the top of what you might be offered, around the mid thirties if your credit is rough, before you send a request. If the payment works at a pessimistic rate, any real offer that comes back better is pure margin. Repayment terms through this network run from 91 days up to 72 months, which is why the term field starts at three months.
When the numbers look workable, the request form shows you what lenders would actually offer. If you are comparing a loan against paying down a card, run the credit card payoff calculator beside this one, and the other calculators in the Tools menu cover the bigger picture.
